A last one before another move

Today was my last drawing session at Disney before moving  to Montreal to work on a fun project until the mid-fall. I must say, it's been a pure joy to draw here with so many talented people. I wish every animation studio had life drawing for its artists ...and people that don't necessarily work as artists! It helps me see and understand things in 3D. It helps me when trying to find the appeal in a shape (that's a never ending work in progress!) I still have so much more to learn not only about life drawing, but how to make connections between what I see in real life and how to apply it to animation. I've seen people that work in other fields (management, etc) come to these classes and I am sure they too benefit from it too in their own way.

Next challenge: keep this life drawing thing going even if I can't find a class!

Loosening up...too much?

It's the second time I was drawing this model...One of the poses below, I drew a few months ago in a very similar angle. It's nice to compare the differences in the drawings I did then and now... I can see that I'm more confident, but I also see that I should pay a little more attention to the foundation of a pose and its proportions.
