Laurel Lightfoot

When I animated Ian’s mom, I kept thinking about my own mom. They look alike (aside from the pointy ears, blue skin and hair). She is also a mighty warrior as she was a (and always be our own) pharmacist. Of course I was going to draw Laurel for her when she asked me to. I miss you, mom.

There was never any pressure to workout in our household. We moved our body because it helped our morale. Our indoor playgrounds might be limited right now, but we can still have fun just moving around ...and be mindful of neighbors... or just meditate and that’s totally fine too.

Mental Health part 1

Some very old demons have resurfaced between my ears lately with our realities changing daily and all the unknowns. I am so grateful I have people I can talk to. The hard part is to acknowledge and accept that those thoughts will be there some days and others they won't. They are just thoughts. Shout out to all the caregivers out there, including those who help us manage those sneaky demons.

Shelter in place, day 2

I am aware this is not available to everyone around the world right now. I am sending you all my compassion and wish us all better times soon.

Goodbye Mr. Richard Williams

Goodbye Mr. Richard Williams. Thank you for the animation masterpieces and for making the learning process of the art form much more entertaining.
